Weee....The week has finally ended.Just return home from duty.Last duty of the month.haha...Its been a long week.Lets recap...here it goes.
Monday was as usual, nothing much.Runs and physical training.Training hard for the upcoming Physical fitness test. After the morning PT, slack the whole day.Tuesday was more or less the same.Physical training again follow by a game of soccer.Did some cleaning up of the camp compound and rest for the whole day.Wednesday was duty, follow by thursday SOC training and Friday 4km route march with 20kg of jerry can.WOW..that was tiring.
The walk was long.It has been a long time since we carry heavy load and walk.It was still accpetable only that its too hot.We started walking around 1415hrs in the afternoon.Yesterday, was the recruits first ever book out.Haha.After this week they will start booking out on Saturday but well im still booking out on Friday...heehee....The mono didnt really start good.So far in 2 weeks, 3 recruits was charge and throw into dentention barracks.1 case of theft, 1 case of fighting and 1 case of manglinging.1 group of recruits found smoking in the toilet and high amount of report sick rate.Well, this is part and parcel of military life.Only through hard training and punishment will they start to learn and be mature in their thinking and be responsible of what they do.
We expect a handful of them not booking in on sunday.Lets see how many recruits will get charge next week.Ehmm...whats so bad about military??its fun isnt it??You get to do what some others dont get.The fun getting to suffer with one another and seeing people doing stupid things.Maybe its just the beginning, when they stay longer they will feel the fun and joy.Actually, serving the Nation wasnt that tough. Those were the days where we sleep at 12 wake up at 5.In the middle of the night, commanders come disturbing us.NO..Time has change. You guys gets at least 7 hours of sleep, good food, good bed and all the welfare.
So treasure what you are having now before everything changes back to the olden days.
Guys, Hows your week??Hope you guys are doing well...Have fun and a great weekend.
Cheers
