National Day Eve
Yo peeps.So today is National Day eve but have been goin on.As usual, school havin celebration, military camps havin parade etc.Today is a halfday work for us.Nothin much thou but quite tirin.So this is how it went...
Woke up pretty early today because we have to go to Mandai Hill camp for observation parade.As usual itz a long draggy one.The whole divison is there, didnt get to see some of my friends because they were out early doin the National Day Parade stuff for tomorrow.The final touch up.Some of them said itz tirin but well my unit is involved in the World Bank meetin thou and its tirin too.We have been preparin since Feb.Amazin huh..So the whole parade lasted for about an hour followed by a 8km run together with Division.I was very tired and didnt have the mood to run, slept late last night because we were chattin til about 0200hrs and wake up time was 0530hrs.The whole event lasted till 1030hrs and home sweet home.Reached home shower and slept and went for movies.."click"
Tomorrow, will be in camp doin duty alone.Itz been a long time since i did weekend duties but well only 1 duty this month..haha..Gonna spent most of the time sleepin and washin my car no one is around in camp except for the duty personnel.
I notice one thing when I was drivin into the carpark today.No families around my area put up the State flag.Ehmm..what is happening.1 block only about 4 household hang the state flag.Something weird thou, last time 1 month before National Day everyone will start hangin but not this year.Geezz..
Oh ya, so many roads are closed tomorrow.Just imagine how people are goin to get home after the parade.Congestion.Itz not traffic congestion but human congestion.Haha..I think i only perfer the marchin parade more than the show being put up.Every year i just watch the parade thats all but not the show put up.No idea why but well the contingent is really something.It might seem easy than the show put itz tirin.Just imagine how long you have to stand there not movin??You cant even drop durin the parade.Salute to all.
Guyz, how are you gonna celebrated National Day??Ehmm..time to think about what you can contribute.
